I love all things film, art, and photography. It is thrilling to be a visual storyteller in this age of rapidly evolving film, TV, and media.
As a director, I think being a writer is fundamental. I even write my documentaries in a sense. We must feel what our characters feel to engage an audience on the deepest level.
I studied philosophy at Boston College and film and visual art at the University of Hawaii.
